Venue plan Fixtures Dimensions

Layout Canvas is for the moments when you need a clear layout drawing without opening a heavy specialist tool. Place shapes, tune sizes and distances numerically, organize work with layers, and build practical plans for stages, venues, and facilities.

Place objects with measurements

Choose mm, cm, or m as the working unit, then enter position, width, height, and rotation values directly. When two shapes are selected, you can inspect and adjust the distance between them.

  • Unit selection
  • Numeric position and size fields
  • Distance display and editing
  • Alignment and contact guides

Keep drawings organized with layers

Separate background plans, fixtures, dimensions, and notes into layers. Layers can be renamed, reordered, shown together, or isolated while you edit.

  • Create and rename layers
  • Reorder layers by dragging
  • Show all or isolate one layer
  • Edit only the active layer

Import plans and data

Import VDX, SVG, JSON, CSV, PDF, and image files. PDFs are placed as first-page images that can be moved, resized, and rotated like normal objects.

  • Place PDF and image plans
  • Best-effort VDX restoration
  • SVG / JSON / CSV import
  • SVG / PNG / JSON export

Continue with autosave

Drawing contents and canvas names are saved automatically in the browser. When Google sign-in and cloud sync are enabled, work can also be saved to the signed-in account.

Flow

How it works

  1. Place a reference planImport a PDF or image plan and scale it to the working layout.
  2. Draw the arrangementAdd rectangles, circles, text, and opening symbols while checking measurements.
  3. Separate the layersKeep background, fixtures, notes, and dimensions distinct so edits stay clear.
  4. Export for sharingExport the result as SVG, PNG, or JSON when you need to share or continue later.
